The Journey
Building things has never been my profession—it has been my way of understanding the world.
Whether teaching golf, designing business systems, restoring historic homes, leading growing companies, or learning a new craft, I've always been drawn to the process of taking something with potential and helping it become something better.
I believe meaningful work begins with curiosity, is refined through craftsmanship, and creates lasting value through thoughtful execution.
Those ideas have guided every chapter of my career—from professional golf and engineering to entrepreneurship, construction, design, and leadership. While the industries have changed, the pursuit has remained the same: to build things that endure and to leave people, places, and organizations better than I found them.
Today, I serve as the Managing Partner and Founder of Links Builders while continuing to develop Stone & Timber and Links• Life• Leisure. Together, these ventures reflect different expressions of the same philosophy: thoughtful craftsmanship, intentional leadership, and lifelong learning.
My hope is that this website becomes more than a portfolio. I want it to be a collection of ideas, projects, and lessons that demonstrate not only what I've built, but how I think.
Because in the end, buildings age, businesses evolve, and careers change.
Character, curiosity, and craftsmanship are the things worth building for a lifetime.
